Yesterday we visited Ward 2a at the RVI to donate a selection of small plastic people!
The children on the ward love playing with these toys, but they are also fantastic for their development. It is often a worry that when children are in hospital receiving treatment for a medical condition, respiratory in the case of Ward 2a children, that other areas of their development will be left behind – with toys such as the ones we donated yesterday the children are constantly using their fine motor skills and developing them! All just through play…it is fantastic!
As always it was great to see the team on ward 2, and to chat to lots of the patients in the ward. – we love supporting Ward 2a and are incredibly proud of the difference our donation make!
