Welcome to the Team – Maria Morton

Continuing our introductions this week of our newly appointed Advisory Panel, tonight we give you the marvellous Maria Morton! Maria will help us by advising on all the donations we make to help support sick children looked after at home in the community, a really important part of our work!

Here is an introduction from Maria, in her own words…
““I am Children’s Community Nurse based in West Cumbria and I care for sick children in the community, as I did helping Greg and Jill look after Evie at home. Most of my work takes place in children’s homes, but I also visit schools, nurseries and hold clinics in hospital. I aim to reduce the impact of childhood illness and hopefully hospital admission.”
