NEPO take on our new event as a test.. the 3 Lakes Walk!

A huge well done to the 9 team members from NEPO for helping us to test out one of our new events for 2019, the 3 Lakes Walk! The team tackled the ferocious wind and rain of storm Callum on Friday 12th October and showed incredible determination!! They also raised well over £1000 in the process!!

The event, which will be held for the first time in Spring 2019, involves walking the 21 miles around Derwentwater, Crummock and Buttermere all in one day! It is a day full of walking in beautiful surrounding and spectacular views in the world famous Lake District. Starting with the 10 miles round Derwentwater, through the forest in Portinscale, past the gorgeous Ladore Falls and back along the shoreline passing the Theatre by the Lake… then on to the incredibly beautiful Crummock water with stunning views, before the lovely walk around Buttermere (with the added drama of the waterfalls on Friday!)

You can see from the photographs that the team from NEPO had a wonderful day taking on the challenge, and we are incredibly proud of them for doing it!!

Places for the event will be opened in the coming months, but if you are interested and would like to register your interest you can do here. Everyone that registers an interest in the event will get early access to the places when they are available (which will be on a first come first served basis!)
