Bucket Collection raises £700!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all those volunteers who held the bucket collection at the Workington v Whitehaven match a few weeks ago! Our lovely volunteers led by our trustee Emma worked hard in the heat shaking their buckets, they were absolute stars!! You can see them at work in the photos below…The money collected on the day raised £683 to help sick children and their families in our region! The bucket collection was held as part of the Workington Town ‘Charity Shirt Day’ where the Workington team wore a specially designed ‘Team Evie’ shirt for the game!

The shirts were auctioned off after the match and the profits from the shirts donate to Team Evie…an announcement will be coming soon with the amount!
