Co-op Cockermouth Celebration Day!!

On Saturday (25th November) we attended the Celebration Day at the Co-op in Cockermouth!

The store has been supporting Team Evie during the past 6 months and we were presented with a cheque for a whopping £1940!!! We might even hit £2000 with the additional funds raised through the cake sale on the day…what an amazing total! The manager David told us that it was the highest total they had raised, to which we owe a huuuuuge thank you to all the Co-op member in the area that bought products in the store in support of Team Evie!

We want to say a massive thank you to the staff of the Co-op as not only have they supported us, thought of ideas to raise more money and sang our praises to customers, but they also supported our Lakeland 3 Peaks Challenge in August, helping us to fill all the goodie bags with snacks for the challengers! The team have been a huge support for us and we look forward to working with them again in the future!

We managed to get some nice photos on the day, but unfortunately didn’t get all the staff as some hid behind the Post Office counter… we will get them next time!!
