Join us in Buttermere on the 18th August for our Team Evie Family Ramble – a great day out raising money to help sick children an their families!
After the huge success of the first day we ran the event, with some families saying it was ‘the best event Team Evie has ever run!’, we felt we had to give more families an opportunity to get involved!
This family-orientated event is a great chance to get outdoors and experience the beauty of one of the Lake Districts most beautiful spots, and have some adventures together as a family. The 4.5 mile walk is a circular around the lake, suitable for children of all ages. Unfortunately the route is not suitable for pushchairs.
Upon arrival at Buttermere you will be given a map of the route which includes various stops with activities – you will be playing pooh-sticks, skimming stones, balancing on logs and much more! Each child taking part will also be given a Team Evie cap and a magnifying glass for their adventures around the lake! Upon completion of the lap of the lake we will give each family a copy of the National Trust’s ’50 things to do before you are 11 and 3/4′ (so you can continue your adventures together during the summer holidays).
You can book your place at the event using the form below!
We hope that children taking part are able to collect sponsors from friends and family for taking part in the event – we are a small charity and every penny really does help! Once you have signed up you will be sent a welcome pack containing information for the day and your sponsor form for the event – so you can get started straight away!
We are really excited about welcoming everyone to the event in Buttermere – there are so many families who have supported Team Evie since we started and it will be brilliant to see so many familiar faces!!
A huge thank you to Prospect the Union for their sponsorship of this event.
