James Graham Events 2018!

Our events this year with our patron James Graham were a fantastic success!

Local children were given the opportunity to be coached by James, who captained England to their recent series win over New Zealand, and the kids in both age groups were fantastic. They listened intently to James’ advice and got stuck in to all the drills and games (on what was a rather chilly night!). The children did West Cumbria proud and James was very impressed!

We also held our Sportsman’s Dinner in the evening, which was also well supported! James told some great tales and kept everyone entertained all evening…

The events altogether raised a fantastic £3300!! A superb amount raised which will do so much good.

We would like to thank a few people; James our patron for his ongoing support for everything we do and his time and efforts with the event, all at Lowca for kindly letting us host the event on their pitches and in their function room, Marnie Jackson for her incredible ongoing support, Morris Lesley and A Plant for providing free floodlighting, the local businesses (Lakes Escapes, Lloyds Cockermouth, Castle Bar, Plaza Cinema, Whitehaven RLFC) that supported us with the raffle and auction prizes and most importantly everyone who supported the event by signing their child up or attended the night event! We are thrilled with the amount raised!
