Lakeland 3 Peaks 2018 raises £11,000!

A huge well done to all our challengers who took part in the Lakeland 3 Peaks event at the end of August! With nearly all the sponsor money in we have now raised £11,000!!!

The event saw the 41 challengers take on Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Skiddaw all in the space of 16 hours! The conditions were arduous to say the least and the team were fantastic, all enjoying the event and smiling throughout! With the three biggest peaks in the Lake District (including the highest peak in England at 6am!) the word challenge could not be more fitting, in strong winds and pouring rain for most of the day it took real grit and determination to complete all 3, but we did it!

A huge thank you also to the team from Penrith Mountain Rescue who accompanied us on the event to keep everyone safe, we are incredibly grateful for their time and efforts.

Entries for the Lakeland 3 Peaks 2019 event, on the 25th August next year, will be open in the coming months and we look forward to putting together next years team!
