New iPad and keyboard donated to Nectar team

It was really lovely to visit the team at Nectar this week after so long to make our first face to face donation since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The team have had to adapt their practices in a big way, and we have supported this with the team using the iPads we supply to take their medical notes and observations of patients when transferring them in their ambulances. This obviously means no paper is used and the chances of transfer of infection is greatly reduced. We were thrilled to donate a brand new iPad to the team yesterday with its own keyboard add-on so they can take notes even easier during transfers, and it is all wipe clean and able to be disinfected between patients.

We are so proud to be able to continue to support the team during the pandemic and it was really lovely to be able to see them again (and some new faces) after all this time – even at a safe social distance!
