Park Run #NHS70 Special!

We were really proud today to take part in a very special Park Run to celebrate #NHS70 – the 70th Birthday of our wonderful NHS!!!

Personally we owe an incredible, immeasurable amount to the NHS, and the superb staff that look after everyone in our hospitals! And, as a charity, we know all too well the fantastic work that goes on throughout Cumbria and the North East – and we do our very best to help out in any way we can! Today’s event was a chance to get out and show support for all the nurses, doctors, healthcares, physios, surgeons, anaesthetists, dietitians and the many many more jobs in our NHS… we love them all and were so proud that so many of us from the Team Evie family were together today to show support!

We had a team of runners in the race, and a team of supporters cheering the runners along – and we were super thrilled that Riley, who you will know from our Showcase Saturday feature came along too!!

It was a brilliant (yet incredibly warm!) event this morning, and we were super proud to come together as Team Evie to say a huge THANK YOU to the NHS!
