Thank you to East Boldon Mother and Toddler group!

Thank you so much to all the organisers and mums who attended the Christmas party organised by Jane Dunn at the end of last year! Jane has been in touch to donate the £197 raised at the event, a fantastic total! We really appreciate being chosen as the charity for the event!

Jane, the organiser said:

“We hosted a Christmas party at East Boldon Scout Hit for our children. We set the group up in June 2016 as 15 mother’s who wanted to keep in touch and now have 800 plus members all sharing experiences and supporting one another. We decided to do some fundraising along the way; we’ve supported Macmillan Cancer Support and a children’s ward at the RVI. This year Team Evie got our vote after Danielle Crone’s Baby Gray had a rough start to his life. So the Christmas party had games for the little ones, a visit from Santa with a gift for everyone, a bake sale and tea for the little ones. We were donated raffle prizes from local businesses, friends and family.”

You may remember Danielle and Gray from their Showcase Saturday episode. The family have become a huge part of Team Evie, so thanks again to Danielle and everyone involved!
